This rosé is fresh and pretty on the nose with aromatics of strawberry, cherry and rose petals. It is light and elegant on the palate, with ripe berry fruit flavours and underlying notes of orange and citrus. This rosé has a beautiful, round and delicate mouthfeel which is complemented by its bright acidity, leading to a refreshing and crisp finish.
Rosé is an incredibly versatile wine to pair with food. It is perfect to serve on its own as an aperitif or with light appetizers, charcuterie, and cheese. Also, pair with dishes such as grilled salmon, turkey burgers, chicken, pizza and seared tuna.
After a successful inaugural vintage for this wine in 2018, the Winemaking team introduces the Sourced from a select parcel of low-yielding 17-year old vines in our Tufford Road Vineyard, farmed for Rosé. Pressed immediately and fermented in older, neutral French oak. Kept on lees, with infrequent stirring, until early 2020, when it was bottled.
