Bronze Medal Winner - 2019 National Wine Awards of Canada
This Sauvignon Blanc has vibrant aromas of fresh lime, candied lemon and tangerine. The citrus fruit notes are abundant on the palate which is light and easy drinking with bright acidity and a crisp, refreshing finish.
This wine is perfect to serve as an aperitif or with a variety of light fare and appetizers such as shellfish, chicken skewers, salads and goat cheese. Enjoy!
Picked very early in the harvest to help retain crispness and fresh flavours, the grapes were all selected from Hunter Farms in the Niagara Lakeshore sub-appellation. After pressing the clear juice was fermented in cool temperatures in stainless steel, with a small percentage fermented a bit warmer in older French oak barrels. Following fermentation, the wine was assembled, and bottled early in 2019 to help capture the freshness and vibrant fruit character on the palate.
