This is a great patio wine for sipping on its own or paired with a number of lighter dishes. This Rosé is always a staff favourite at Fielding!
A fun and versatile wine, this Rosé was crafted to be both rich and refreshing.
Selected lots of four different grape varieties were drained or pressed following up to two days soaking on their skins, giving the juice a light purple hue. Fermented cold in stainless steel, each grape variety was kept separate in the winery and then assembled afterwards. The final wine was cold stabilized, sterile filtered, and bottled early in 2012 to help retain its’ fresh character.
Awards & Accolades
4 ½ stars! “Aromas of rose petals and red raspberry roll from the glass of this dry, crisp, refreshing Rosé. There are oodles of juicy, lively flavours with spice-laden red cherry and juicy black plum to the fore. It’s medium weight, introducing complexity with silky smooth mouth feel and loads of charm. It’s delightful sipped on its own or poured with lighter-styled appetizers—chicken Caesar salad or vegetarian spring rolls.” - Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com
