2010 Estate Bottled Riesling

2010 Estate Bottled Riesling

We call this one the “crowd pleaser”. Perfect for enthusiasts and non-wine drinkers alike, our Estate Riesling has the “it” factor to make anyone fall for its vibrant, fruity flavours.

Very light gold in colour with fresh aromas of peach, lemon drops and orange. Great acidity on the finish with a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel.

Silver Medal - 2011 Canadian Wine Awards

Sourced primarily from two parcels of Riesling vines in our Jack Rabbit Flats Vineyard, a twenty year old block of vines, and a four year old block, picked over a period of two weeks. Grapes were gently pressed, settled, and fermented at cold temperature in stainless steel. After fermentation the wines were combined, cold stabilized, sterile filtered and bottled.

Awards and Accolades

Silver Medal - 2011 Canadian Wine Awards

Lusciously sweet stone-fruit aromas, citrus and a whiff of minerality drift from the glass of this finely crafted just off-dry gem. Sweetly fruity on entry—a basket of nectarine, peach and apricot—a backbone of acidity underlines the clean zesty flavour of mandarin and lime. Light-medium bodied, this is a great wine to sip on its own or to savor with warm salmon salad. ****1/2, Susan Desjardins, Wine Current
