This rosé is pale pink in colour with vibrant notes of raspberry, strawberry and grapefruit. On the palate it is fruit-forward and easy drinking with bright acidity that’s incredibly refreshing and well-balanced. It is light with a clean and crisp finish—a wine that’s perfect for the warmer weather!
After a short soak on skins (approximately 12 hours), Merlot Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon were pressed gently, and fermented in stainless steel much like a white wine. Following fermentation, Viognier was blended in to freshen the palate and add aromatics. The final assembled wine was bottled in early 2019 to help retain aromatics and freshness on the palate.
Rosé is known to be an excellent pairing with a variety of different food—and this one is no exception. Pair with chicken burgers, pizza, tacos, seared tuna, light salads and grilled salmon. It’s also the perfect pairing for charcuterie and cheese as well as a variety of other appetizers.
