This Cabernet Franc has expressive notes of black cherry, raspberry, rosemary and thyme. The ripe fruit notes follow through to the palate, complemented by underlying notes of spice and herbs, while remaining fresh, rich and well-balanced. It is medium to full in body with mouthwatering acidity and outstanding structure.
Winemaking Notes Sourced from four different vineyards (in four different sub-appellations), the grapes were all harvested late in the growing season. After macerating on their skins for an extended period, the wines were drained into barrel, where they aged for 15 months. After aging on lees, the wines were assembled and bottled, without fining or filtration.
Food Pairings This wine is incredibly versatile to pair with a variety of food. It would pair perfectly with pork tenderloin, braised beef stew, lasagna, pizza or pasta with a tomato-based sauce, and BBQ meats like burgers and sausages.
