2011 Gewurztraminer

Mixed fruit – orange zest, pineapple and mango on the nose with spice-filled aromatics of ginger, nutmeg and clove. Good roundness and weight on the mid-palate, and a long pleasant finish.

Winemaking Notes

After removing the stems, the crushed grapes were cold-soaked with the juice to maximize the extraction of aroma compounds locked in the skins of the grapes. After pressing the juice was fermented at cool temperatures, in stainless steel. Aged in stainless steel prior to filtration and bottling.
