This Gewürztraminer is done in a dry style with just a hint of sweetness. A perfect pairing for spicy dishes or just on its own as a great sipping wine.
Orangemarmalade and dried pineapple on the nose with spice-filled aromatics of ginger, nutmeg and clove. Good richness and weight on the mid-palate, and great flavour concentration on the finish.
After removing the stems, the crushed grapes were cold-soaked with the juice to maximize the extraction of aroma compounds locked in the skins of the grapes. After pressing the juice was fermented at cool temperatures, in stainless steel. Aged in stainless steel prior to filtration and bottling.
