At one time or another, all we wine lovers have stared longingly into a hypnotic, deep red and dreamed of growing a fine vineyard. How, we wonder, does a great wine come to be? Seeking the answer led my family to a great life's adventure in a little pocket of paradise. We invite you to begin your search with a leisurely trip to our home in the Niagara Peninsula.

Here, our family is engaged in an old tradition. With the skills of a master vintner and the finest soil a grape has ever known, we are creating distinctive wines for your pleasure. If you sip slowly, you’ll taste our passion.

As wine is for all seasons, so too is the winery.

For most of our lives, our family has lived in the cottage country of the Haliburton Highlands. Like the Niagara region of our winery, the Highlands have four distinct, spectacular seasons, and we look forward to all of them.
We've always felt at home with the contemporary Canadiana architecture of the Highlands - the lakeside homes are "lodges" rather than houses, with generous use of wood, stone and glass, designed for life to sprawl over decks in the summer and gather around fireplaces in the winter. Our architects, Superkul of Toronto, designed a great, Wine Lodge with glass panels exposing the winery operations and the view across Lake Ontario to the Toronto skyline.

What better way to finish a winter's day in Niagara than to relax by a fire, enjoying a glass of Pinot Noir, watching the light from the setting sun dance across snow-draped vineyards?
